Ha what a void your leaving us has left in our lives. You have been such a wonderful father, father in law, grandfather and friend. My daughter, Heidi, has lost a very important person in her life. You were a jewel to her, a father. My grandbabies will no longer hear your truck in the front with you coming through the door hollering, come see the fish PawPaw caught. They love you so much. I will always remind them of the wonderful person they called PawPaw Ha.
You left my daughter and grandbabies in very capable hands. Clint, is so very much like you. You have engrained in him so many good qualities and I thank you for that.

Go rest my friend. You have finally reached the ultimate horse race and your horse finally won big. Good fishing and hunting.

    With Love, Myrtle

We were all young and cousins, a lifetime ago...but I remember those times, a long, long time ago. We moved to Krotz Springs in my seventh grade year, and only spent one year there. That was the best year of my young life. Douglas and I were about the same age...Harold was a few years younger, but he would sometimes tag along with us to the ol swimming hole and to other Tom SawyerHuckleberry Finn adventures. Like I said, it was a great time in our young lives...too bad we have to grow up. I moved away, and we were separated, never to see each other again...but I never forgot the times we spent together, nor the memories. It saddens me to know that Harold and I never reconnected, and now will never have that opportunity to do so, ever again.
