Opelousas – Services for Ethel Breaux Soileau, age 80, will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, La. Father Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the services.

Mrs. Soileau, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas.

She was a member of Queen of Angel’s Catholic Daughters.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Soileau and his wife, Liz, of St. Landry, Louisiana; her daughter, Judy Huntsberry of Montgomery, Alabama; her sister, Renella Lavergne of Opelousas, La. and her three grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way and a special friend, Tina Dugas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allie L. Soileau; her parents, Ellis and Arista Touchet Breaux and her son, Norman Soileau and her sister, Mazie Guidry.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
