Krotz Springs – Funeral services for James N. Plaisance, Jr., age 24, will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs followed by interment in the church cemetery. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mr. Plaisance, a resident of Krotz Springs, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2010, at 1:00 a.m. at Opelousas General Health System after a short illness.

He is survived by his wife, Danielle A. Plaisance; his son, Anthony J. Plaisance; his daughter, Eileen T. Plaisance and his father, James Plaisance, Sr. all of Krotz Springs, La. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Norman and Belva Plaisance and his maternal grandmother, Vera “Tootsie” Jarreau and four sisters, Kelda M. Ansley, Jami L. Mouille, Lisa M. Stermer and Kelly A. Plaisance all of Krotz Springs, La.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen J. Plaisance and his aunt, Madeline T. Evans, paternal grandmother, Mary Helen Plaisance and his maternal grandparents, Roland and Kelly Keen Ann Jarreau

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. (all night) until service time at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010
