"Ha - what a void your leaving us has left in our lives. You have been such a wonderful father, father in law, grandfather and friend. My daughter, Heidi, has lost a very important person in her life. You were a jewel to her, a father. My grandbabies will no longer hear your truck in the front with you coming through the door hollering, "come see the fish PawPaw caught". They love you so much. I will always remind them of the wonderful person they called "PawPaw Ha".
You left my daughter and grandbabies in very capable hands. Clint, is so very much like you. You have engrained in him so many good qualities and I thank you for that.
Go rest my friend. You have finally reached the ultimate horse race and your horse finally won big. Good fishing and hunting.
With Love, Myrtle"

"Travis, Clint, Amber
My deepest sympathy to all of you. I remember growing up across the street from Uncle Harold. I can still see him walking across to bring mom & dad a pan of his fresh catfish. May God rest his soul!!"
"My father-n-law was a wonderful man. He was a special person to our family and will be greatly missed. He brought so much joy to the lives of my children and everyone that knew him. It was a pleasure to be able to help care for him along the side of my mother-n-law and my sister-n-law.we shared alot of laughs and tears along the way during his battle. He fought with all that he had and never gave up. Ha you touched my life 17 yrs.ago and I am forever greatful to have loved and known you. You are at peace now and watching over us. Until we meet again we love you Ha!!! Heidi"
