I am in total shock to know that Mia has left us. She was such a kind and friendly person. I will miss seeing her at the Duson Post Office. My prayers are with all the family and friends. Rest in Peace Mia!

I've got to know Mia very well this past year as a postal customer in Duson. She was looking forward to her recent house she was closing on. Very sad that we lost her. No matter how bad my day was or how tired she was, she always greeted me with a smile and upbeat conversation. Terrible loss to us in Duson. RIP Mia, you will not be forgotten.

Shocked to hear this. My friend Laurette and I enjoyed her and Jennifer's company on my last cruise. We dined with them at night. She was so sweet. Jennifer...you have my sympathy . Your friend Veronica Juneau.

I worked with Mia and will miss her. She was a great friend and mother. She loved working at the post office and she was a great people person. Talking was her passion along with talking about her grandchildren, children, sisters and parents. She loved them with all her heart. She enjoyed her vacations and cruises. When someone would talk to Mia she always would say something and you always would laugh with her.
She had a sassy side. She would call me “old man” and would give me the middle finger salute. She was a trip KMA was her favorite quote.
She was loved by all of Arnaudville
My sincere condolences to Rufus and all of Mia’s family.
