To Debbie's family: I just read about Debbie's passing. I had not seen her in many, many years. Just a few months ago, I tried to reconnect with Debbie, but learned that I was too late. In the early 1970's, we were cheerleaders together at Opelousas High School. Debbie was a fun and spirited girl, and we had some great times that I have cherished through the years. My deepest condolences to all of you. Debbie is gone way too young.

Debbie was one of the most wonderful people I've ever met and though we were separated by work and family obligations she remains one of the best friends I've ever had. She loved her human and animal family more than anything in the world and the world is diminished by her passing.
