Funeral services for Mrs. Addie N. Wartelle will be on Thursday, November 29th, 2007 at 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington with the interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Albert Nunez and Father Pete Smith will conduct the services.

Mrs. Wartelle, a resident of Washington, age 79, died on Monday, November 26th at Opelousas General Health System. She was a member of St. Marys Altar Society and also a member of the Immaculate Conception Church Choir.

She is survived by 1 daughter; Mrs Sharon Gautreaux and her husband Wayne of Washington, sons; Wallace Edwards Splane and his wife Paula, Wyatt Thompson Splane and his wife Stephanie and Lastrapes Louis Wartell II and his wife Julie, all of Washington, a daughter-in-law; Paula Splane of Kentwood, La. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a son Ogden Nicholson Splane, Ogden Thompson Splane, her first husband, Lastrapes Louis Wartelle I, her second husband and her parents; Albert and Sylvanie Richard Nickleson.

The family has requested visitation will be observed at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 28th from 3:00PM to 10:00PM and will re-open on Thursday from 8:00AM until the time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00PM on Wednesday.
