Funeral services for Angelina Bazar Dupont will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Krotz Springs. Rev. Henry Wallace will officiate the services. Graveside services and interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Krotz Springs.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in the Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs.

Angelina passed away on September 3, 2025, at Acadian Medical Center in Eunice, Louisiana, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 9, 1954, in Orange, Texas, Angelina dedicated her life as a beloved homemaker to nurturing her loved ones and creating a warm, welcoming home.

Throughout her life, Angelina was known for her unwavering devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love shone brightly in every aspect of her daily life, as she cherished the time spent together with family and friends. Her home was a sanctuary filled with laughter, joy, and the delicious aromas of the meals she lovingly prepared. Cooking was not just a necessity for Angelina; it was an expression of her love.

In addition to her culinary talents, Angelina enjoyed exploring the great outdoors. She found immense joy in camping trips creating memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones. Her hobbies extended beyond cooking; she loved making puzzles that challenged her mind and crocheting beautiful pieces that reflected her creativity and craftsmanship.

Angelina's spirit was infectious, and her ability to connect with everyone she met made her a beloved figure in her community. Her warmth and kindness drew people in, and she was always ready with a comforting word or gesture.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Joseph Dupont of Krotz Springs; three daughters, Vickie (Johnny) Johnfroe of Krotz Springs; Angela (Christopher) Fontenot of Eunice; and Betty (Michael) Arbour of Watson; two brothers, Samuel Bazar and Gene Bazar, both of Denham Springs; six grandchildren: Joseph Johnfroe, Samantha Lee, Abigail Lee, Amy Lee, Daniel Dupont, and Blake Arbour; two great-grandchildren, Freya Johnfroe and Vincent Satterley. She is also survived by her godchildren, Jason Robin and Jennie Ledoux; a host of nieces, nephews, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Bazar and Stella Mae Richard Bazar; brother, Gilbert “Tudy” Bazar; sister, Stella Robin; father-in-law, Wilbert Dupont and mother-in-law, Mary Joyce Benoit Dupont; and her grandparents, Gilbert J. Bazar and Linda L. Bazar; and Joseph Richard and Irma Richard.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Johnfroe, Johnny Johnfroe, Christopher Fontenot, Michael Arbour, Gene Bazar, and Amy Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Dupont, Blake Arbour, and Samuel Bazar.

As we remember Angelina Bazar Dupont, we celebrate the profound impact she had on those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love, dedication, and family values will live on in the hearts and memories of her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to share in her life.
