Anthony Raymond Angona, a cherished family man, passed away peacefully at his residence in Krotz Springs on June 19, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 7, 1944, in Melville, Louisiana, Anthony touched the lives of many throughout his lifetime.

As a dedicated machinist, Anthony devoted many years of service to Nabisco, where he was respected for his skill and work ethic. His contributions to the company and to those he worked alongside form a significant part of his legacy.

Anthony's warmth and generosity extended beyond his professional career. He was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in spending time with his family and friends. He treasured moments shared with his grandchild, creating lasting memories filled with joy and laughter. His passion for cooking brought his loved ones together around the table, where stories were shared, and connections deepened. As a pastime, he enjoyed fishing.

Anthony's spirit will be remembered as one of generosity and kindness. His ability to connect with others, combined with his love for his family and friends, has left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his daughters, Kristine Angona and Michele Angona, both of Krotz Springs, LA; brothers, Victor Angona of Melville, LA; and Van Angona of Walker, LA; sisters, Cathy Morelli of New Lenox, IL; and Maryanna Otto of San Diego, CA; and one grandson, Joshua Angona of Krotz Springs. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Angona; his parents, Sam Angona and Edna Hoyt Angona; and his brother, Sam Angona, Jr.
