Anthony Graffia

Funeral services for Anthony Tony Graffia will be held Monday May 7, 2007 at 1:00pm in the St. John Catholic Church in Melville, with burial in the church cemetery.

Fr. Bob Courville will conduct the services.

Mr. Graffia age 93, a resident of Melville died Friday May 4, 2007 at his residence at 11:50pm. He was a retired farmer and he also loved to work in his garden.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Katie Angona Graffia of Melville, daughters; Rose Marie and her husband Lamar Montgomery of Harahan, Shirley Graffia and Mary Lee Graffia both of Melville, daughter in law; Betty P. Graffia of Violet, brothers; Nick Graffia of Anaheim, Ca., Vincent Graffia of Livonia, Newt Graffia and Leon Graffia both of Mariqouin, sister; Lebonia Brown of Seagroville, Tx. and 5 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents Joe and Marie Graffia, brothers; Sam, Frank and Joe Graffia, son; Lt. Col. Joseph Graffia and an infant daughter Maragret Graffia.

Visitation will be Sunday May 6, 2007 from 4:00pm until 10:00pm and Monday 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00pm.
