Bailee is survived by loving parents, Dalton F. Carter III and Micki Carter; her grandparents, Thea Mills Hollie, Mark Hollie (Janet), Dalton Carter, Jr., Catherine Bacon, and John Leger (Felicia); her brother, Levi Carter; her sister, Riley Carter; her beloved Tauntie, Jade Hundley and her husband, Caleb; her uncles, Jason Huguet (Crystal); David Carter (Erin), Beau Hollie, Dylan Hollie, and Fabian Leger (Bethani); her aunt, Nicki Boutte (Craig); and a host of very loved cousins, great-aunts and great-uncles.

She is preceded by her biological father, Matthew Leger; her great-grandparents, Mickey Mills and Jackie Mills, Narcisse Doucet, Sr. and Jessie Lacombe Doucet; Dalton Carter, Sr. and Katie Carter; and Robert and Alice McClelland; her aunt, Rachel Carter; her great-aunt and uncle, Jane and Robert McGlone; and great-aunt, Beth Marks.

Bailee will be remembered as a bright and joyful spirit who found happiness in the things she loved most. She enjoyed cheering, fishing, hunting, riding 4-wheelers, swinging on the rope swing, and listening to music. She brought energy and warmth to the moments she shared with others, and her love for fun and adventure was part of what made her so special. She was silly, sassy, loving, and one of the most caring souls you could ever meet. She could make you laugh, give you an attitude in the same breath, and love you with her whole heart.

She had a caring heart and was known for being the “mother hen” to all children, always looking after others in her own loving way. Bailee loved making people laugh, and she treasured time spent with her friends. Her presence brought smiles, comfort, and a sense of togetherness to those around her. She also had a special love for cheese sticks, a small but sweet detail that will be fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Bailee’s life, though far too brief, was filled with affection, laughter, and the simple joys that leave lasting memories. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives were touched by her kind heart and spirited nature.
