Betty Jo Darby Ellis

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Betty Jo Darby Ellis announce the death of their dear loved one.

Betty was born in Opelousas, LA on August 4, 1953 to Earl Joseph Darby and Nelma Joubert Darby. She died at Opelousas General Health System on Monday, November 2, 2020.

She enjoyed writing poetry and working crossword puzzles. Betty will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Her survivors include her two sons, Dustin Cole Ellis and Dylan Earl Ellis; her sisters, Cheryl Dupont, Jeanette Johnson, and Judy Lacombe.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents.
