It is with great sadness that the family of Brien Patrick Olivier announces his death on Friday June 3, 2022. He was Fifty-two years old.
Brien’s family will receive family and friends for visitation at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning Wednesday at 9:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm in the Skip Monet Memorial Chapel. Father Matthew Higginbotham will conduct the service.
Brien loved his family and loved to make everyone laugh. He was kind- hearted and giving. If something broke and Brien was around, he would be so proud to fix it for you. He loved knives and had a large collection. If Brien loved you, he was going to give you a knife. He loved music and usually had music playing in the background whatever he was doing. He enjoyed talking about anything and everything and was always up for a visit whether it was a phone call or face to face.
Brien worked for many years making deliveries for the Coca Cola Bottling Company. Before working at Coke, he also delivered for Pepsi and for the old “Schlitz Warehouse”. He worked so quickly that he earned the nickname, Flash. He loved his work and had many stories of all the people he met on the way.
Brien will be missed by those who loved him so dearly. He will live in their hearts and be a part of them for the rest of their lives.
Brien is survived by his daughter, Amber Adriance and her husband, Darrien; his father, Floyd Patrick Olivier and his wife, Geraldine; his step father, Dallas Fontenot; his sister, Amanda Olivier Bertrand and her husband, Toby; his step sisters, Missy Stoute and her husband, Kenny; and Stephanie Davie and her husband Taylor; his grandson, Scotti Venable; and his niece Shelbi Bertrand Baham, her husband, Daniel and their children, Logan, Patrick and Olivia.
