Burnley Joubert, Jr

- A memorial service for B.J. Joubert, age 49, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 in the LaFond- Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Jonathan Young of First Baptist Church of Opelousas will celebrate the service.

B.J., a native of Metairie and lifelong resident of Opelousas, died at 11:58 a.m. on July 3, 2009 at his residence.

Mr. Joubert is survived by his mother, Patricia Lou Brown- Kauffman; his sons, Michael, Tyler, Aaron, and Stephen Joubert; his brothers, Morgan Joubert of Opelousas, La. and Anthony Joubert of Duson and his sister, Mona McMurtry of Opelousas, La.

He was preceded in death by his father Burnley Joseph Joubert, Sr.

A Gathering of Remembrance will be held in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until service time .
