Chad Ardoin

Krotz Springs - Funeral services will be held for Chad Kelly Ardoin at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. Reverend Chad Bolfa will conduct the service.

Chad, age 44 and a resident of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

Chad loved to spend time outdoors, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Chad was well-known to many and he never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his brothers, Calvin Ray Ardoin, Sr. and his wife, Brenda, Joseph "T-Boy" Ardoin, Jr. and his wife, Janice, Bradford Ardoin and his wife, Monica Turner, Charles L. Ardoin and his wife, Barbara Robin Ardoin and Mike Ardoin and his wife, Shondell; sisters, Sheryl A. LeBlanc and her husband, Charles Eddie LeBlanc, Mary S. Crouch, Connie Briggs and Elizabeth Barker and her husband, Mike; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Mabre and Ila Mae Rushing Ardoin; brothers, Ulynn Ardoin, Edwin Ardoin, Dwayne Ardoin and Delbert Ardoin; nephews, William Graham, John Templeton, Jr. and Hoby Barker; and brother-in-law, Luther Crouch.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
