Charlene O'Connor

Krotz Springs - Visitation will be held for Charlene Ann O'Connor on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlene Ann O'Connor, age 66, on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Opelousas General Health System.

Charlene was a kind and loving person.  She was a loving sister, mother, and grandmother.  Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.  She enjoyed collecting ceramic figurines, cooking, and gardening.  She especially loved her brother-in-law's roses.  Charlene loved listening to music and dancing while she meticulously cleaned her house.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Josh Evans (Krystin), Jacob Evans and John Snyder; her daughter, Crystal Carriere and husband, Lance; her Godchild, Michelle Stermer; her brother, Raphael O'Connor; her sisters, Gail Duval, Maglenn Lejeune (Jimmy), Geneva Hudson (Mike) and Mona Pierce and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving family members.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Adam Evans, Emma Evans, Makenzie Evans, Amielle Gomez, Mary Angela Carriere, Jules Mae Carriere and Chelsea Snyder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Ella Mae Dupuis O'Connor; her siblings, Mary Devillier, Rose O'Connor, Elvinia Stermer, Darlene Dupuis, Chester O'Connor, Jr., Kermit O'Connor and Pat O'Connor and her grandchildren, Connor Evans and Parker Evans.
