Charles "Chuck" Clifton Cunningham

Charles "Chuck" Clifton Cunningham, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was born on February 8, 1971, in Arnaudville, Louisiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Charles “Chuck” Cunningham on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Father Henry Antony will celebrate the mass. Rite of Committal and burial will be held in the St. Anthony Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Hogan Kaiser, Chris Kaiser, David Johnson, Clint Lacassin, James Hotard and Kenneth Kaiser, Jr.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

Chuck was known for his vibrant personality. A natural comedian, he loved to joke around. He loved playing the piano, singing and cooking. He was a master carpenter and could build anything he put his mind to. Additionally, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, particularly hunting. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his dog, Jrue.

He is survived by his stepfather, Kenneth Kaiser, Sr.; his sons, Cody Cunningham and Cory Cunningham; his brothers, Kent Cunningham (Sky), Sean Cunningham, Kenneth Kaiser, Jr. (Monique), and Hogan Kaiser (Hannah); and his sisters, Laura Johnson (David) and Erin Ryder (Josh). He also leaves behind a faithful companion and his bestie, his dog, Jrue, along with a host of nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Cunningham and Monty Kaiser; his stepfather, David Magoo Lacassin; the mother of his children, Kim Dubroc; as well as his grandmothers, Dorothy Ortis, Loretta Kaiser, and Nancy Taylor, and his grandfathers, Putchum Ortis and Claude Kaiser.

He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
