With profound sorrow, yet with faith in the promise of eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ, we announce the passing of our beloved infant daughter, Charlotte Rose Duplechain, who was born at 12:22 on April 6, 2026, and entered eternal rest at 8:39 p.m., before being gently called home to God.
Though her time on earth was brief, Charlotte filled those moments with a lifetime of love and was a precious gift entrusted to us by God. She was deeply cherished from the very beginning—dreamed of, hoped for, and forever wanted. In her short time, she knew only warmth, tenderness, and the unbreakable bond of her parents’ love. Charlotte filled our hearts with a love beyond measure and a grace that will remain with us forever. We take comfort in knowing that she is now held in the loving arms of Jesus and tenderly cared for by the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Charlotte is greatly loved and forever cherished by her parents, Brent and Elizabeth Mouret Duplechain; her siblings, Sawyer Duplechain and John Duplechain; her maternal grandparents, Scott and Lauren Mouret; and her paternal grandparents, Chad (Kelly) Duplechain and Leslie Savoy.
She is also survived by her maternal great-grandparents, Felix and Carolyne DeJean and Joanna Venable, and her paternal great grandmother, Sandy Savoy.
She will also be lovingly remembered by her aunts and uncles, Scotty Mouret, Nicholas Mouret, Kathryn Camille Mouret, Maddie Rose Mouret, Tyler Beaugh and his wife, Hannah, Lane Beaugh, and Eric Beaugh, along with extended family and all who awaited her arrival with great love.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather, Louis Albert Mouret and her paternal great-grandparents Charles and Caroline Duplechain and Bobby Savoy.
We find comfort in the promise of scripture: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” We also hold close the assurance that “the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
In those 8 hours and 17 precious minutes, Charlotte changed our lives forever. She will always be our daughter, our light, and our greatest love.
While we grieve the loss of our sweet Charlotte, we hold fast to our Catholic faith and the hope of the Resurrection. We trust in God’s mercy and His promise that we will one day be reunited with her in Heaven.
Forever in our hearts, our precious angel.
