A Graveside Memorial Service for Cindy Lynn Menard Hollier will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA. Father Laurent DePrins will officiate the service.
Cindy Hollier, age 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026, at her residence.
Cindy worked as a legal secretary for 20+ years and then joined her husband to operate Hollier Electrical Service, Inc. for 28 years until retirement in 2024. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. Her greatest joy was spending time with her boys. Cindy enjoyed sewing and crafts, particularly embroidery and crochet. She was known for her fiery spirit and determination. She loved fiercely and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Glenn Hollier of Opelousas, LA; her daughter, Jessica Hollier-Duhon (Josh) of Cankton, LA; her brother-in-law, Greg Hollier (Allyson) of Pecaniere, LA; her sister-in-law, Donna Smith (Mike) of Longview, TX; her grandsons, Cullen Michael Graham Ill, Wyatt James Graham and Dylan Joseph Duhon; her granddaughter, Kairi Raine Duhon; her nephews, Cain Hollier and Dylan Hollier; and her nieces, Jennifer Hall and Megan Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lenis Joseph Menard; her mother, Marjorie Jackson Menard; her sister, Sheila Darlene Menard; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arista "Slim" Hollier and Mildred LeBlanc Hollier.
Cindy's family would like to give a special thanks to Vital Caring Hospice & Compassionate Care Agency- especially Kimberly Dupont-RN, Erin Guidry-RN, Lisa Istre-RN, Jennifer Bradley-RN, Teriana Hamilton-RN, Lisa Shearin Chaplain, Sherline Boutte-CNA, Diamoneshia Metz-CNA, and her favorite, lronice Rideaux-Holmes-CNA and an additional thanks to Beau Guidroz-PT.
