Curtis Vasseur, Sr.

Funeral services for Curtis G. Brush Vasseur, Sr. will be Monday April 30, 2007 at 2:00pm at the Prairie Ronde Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. David Fultz will conduct the services.

Mr. Vasseur age, 68, a resident of Prairie Ronde died Saturday April 28, 2007 at Opelousas General Health Systems. He was a retired oilfield worker and auto mechanic. He was a veteran of the United States Army and also served in the National Guard

Survivors include his wife; Leola Ortego Vasseur of Prairie Ronde, son; Curtis Gene Vasseur, Jr. of Prairie Ronde, daughters; Theresa Faye Vasseur of Port Barre, Genevieve Bihm and her husband Carlos of Lafayette, brothers; Ronald Vasseur and his wife Gerrie of Prairie Ronde, Robert Vasseur and his wife Shirly of Deridder, sisters; Norma Ann Dougherty and her husband Allen of Prairie Ronde, Rita Gail Thompson and her husband James of Baytown, Tx., 4 grandchildren; Kenneth Daigle, Toby Daigle, Dustin Savoy and Nicholas Bihm and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Theodore and Lurline Vasseur and a brother Lucius Vasseur.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00pm until 10:00pm and Monday from 9:00am until time of services.
