Darla Mae Crow Sanders, born on January 4, 1960, in Opelousas, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her residence in Krotz Springs, Louisiana, on January 14, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, deeply cherished by all who knew her.

Funeral services for Darla Sanders will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, in the Krotz Springs United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM. Pastor Laurie Rayborn will conduct the services. Burial will be held in the Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brennan Sanders, Logan Deville, Darrin Hardy, Jordan Muir, Adam Kimball and Bailey Armond. Honorary pallbearers will be Lawson Sanders, Cole Sanders and Brennon St. Romain.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

For 49 wonderful years, Darla shared her life with Brian Sanders, the love of her life. Together, they forged a bond that exemplified partnership and devotion. Darla was a proud and nurturing mother to her children, Joshua Sanders and his wife, Christy, Jessica Sanders and her fiancé, Darrin Hardy and Jennifer Sanders; her sisters, Denise Huckaby and husband, David; Donna Lane; and her brother-in-law, Dale Clavier. Her family was the center of her universe, and enjoyed every moment spent with them. Darla's legacy extends to her grandk9ids and great-grandkids: Logan, Brennan, Madison, Emily, Bailey, Aaliyah, Jordan, Morgan, Lawson, Ava, Aspen, Wesley, and Jenna. She cherished attending their sporting events, offering her unwavering support and love. Darla is also remembered by her brothers, Kenneth Crow and his wife, Karen, Karl Crow and his wife, Shila, and Keith Crow and his wife, Peggy.

Darla found pleasure in shopping and cherished moments spent at the beach with her husband, activities that brought her joy and relaxation. She had a remarkable ability to create lasting memories, especially during family gatherings and celebrations.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arvel and Edna Crow; her sister, Debbie Clavier; her grandson, Tucker Sanders; her father-in-law, John A. Sanders; her sister-in-law, Belinda Hill; her brother-in-law, John Lane; her nephew, Jason Lane, and niece, Davina Chapman.

Darla Mae Crow Sanders leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family connection that will endure in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all.
