Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Darlene Dupuis will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs, La.  Reverend Allen Meyers will conduct the services.  Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darlene Dupuis, age 60.  Darlene passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Darlene was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She loved fishing and family gatherings.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her companion, Joseph Matte; her sons, Richard Lacassin, Jr. and fiance', Susan Walden, Anthony Lacassin, Craig Matte and fiance', Edith Kemp; her daughters, Monica Guillory, Niki Templeton and husband, Spencer, Theresa Barker, Billie Edwards and husband, Johnny, Crystal Sparks and husband, Patrick, Carol  Ann Dies and husband, Harvey, Jessica Norman and husband, Mark, Robin Vidrine and companion, Merrick Gautreaux, Darhonda Bell and husband, MJ; her sisters, Genever Hudson, Mona Pierce, Gail Duvall, Charlene O'Connor, Mag Lejeune; her brother, Johnny "Ray" O'Connor and her nephew, Micky O'Connor.   She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Johnelle and Ella Mae Dupuis Stermer; her brothers, Chester O'Connor, Pat O'Connor, Kermit O'Connor; her sisters, Mary Devillier, Rose O'Connor and Elvina Stermer.
