Dayna Lalonde Foreman was born on January 6, 1965, in Lafayette, Louisiana, and passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, at her parents’ home. Dayna was a loving and vibrant individual who left a mark on the lives of those around her.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Dayna Lalonde Foreman will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA. Father Howard Blessing will celebrate the Mass and the concelebrant will be Father Mark Garrett. Rite of Committal and Internment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Foreman, Greg Lalonde, Hunter Zerangue, Devin Power, J.P. Foreman, Blake Foreman and Matthew Benson. Honorary pallbearers will be Brach Myers and Brandon Myers.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA. The eulogy and rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m.
For many years, Dayna served as the director of Indigent Health Care, where her commitment to serving others was evident. Her dedication was recognized through accolades such as the Rockwall County, TX Employee of the Year and the Rockwall County Employee of the Quarter. Dayna was not only a respected professional, but also an active member of her community. She was involved with the Our Lady of the Lake Council of Catholic Women, and the TIHCA Texas Healthcare Association. Additionally, she served as an EFSP board member and was part of the Emergency Fund and Shelter Program of Texas.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dayna had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in gardening, hiking, traveling and shopping. Dayna loved her Catholic faith and was devoted to her daily rosary with Kitty’s Morning Glories. She had a beautiful devotion to our Lady and the Holy Family. She was an inspiration to everyone. People were drawn to Dayna. She was always the life of the party because of her bright contagious smile, hearty laugh and bigger than life stories.
Dayna was so proud of the family she and Keith created. She was very proud of her children’s accomplishments. Left to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, Keith David Foreman, of Rockwall, TX; her son, Tyler David Foreman, of Rockwall, TX; her daughters, Sydney Foreman Benson and her husband Matthew, of Dallas, TX; and Avery Camille Foreman, of Rockwall, TX. She is also survived by her brothers, Byran Lalonde and his wife, Brenna Dee of Lafayette, LA; and Jay Lalonde and his wife, Marie of Lafayette, LA; her sister, Tobi Lalonde Zerangue and her husband, Chris, of Opelousas, LA; and one soon to be born granddaughter.
Dayna is preceded in death by her parents, Lester John Lalonde and Gloria Ann Lavergne Lalonde, as well as her grandparents, Theobert Lavergne, Sr., Amanthe Elkins Lavergne, Alex Lalonde and Bernadette Roy Lalonde.
Dayna’s legacy of love will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering spirit will be dearly missed.
