Delores Savoie

Opelousas- A private Graveside Service for Ms.Delores Savoie will be held at Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Opelousas. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will officiate the service.

Ms. Savoie, age 70; who was a native of Opelousas and resident of Sunset, LA. She died on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.

Delores was a bookkeeper for many years. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sister, Norma Darby; nephew, Mike Darby and wife, Rhonda Darby;nephew, Brian Darby and wife, Christie Darby; Godchild, Phillip Darby; and a number of great nieces and nephews that she held close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lilly Mae Savoie and Milton Savoie; brother-in-law, Easton Darby; nephew, Danny Darby; and great niece, Christie Matthieu.
