Dianna "Bootsie" Pullen

Krotz Springs – Funeral services for Dianna “Bootsie” Marguerite Mires Pullen will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs.  Rev. Allan Myers will conduct the service.  Interment will be held in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Krotz Springs.

The family is requesting that visitation be held from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs.

Dianna, age 78, was a native and resident of Krotz Springs, LA who passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.   

Dianna worked as a bookkeeper.  She was a very devoted mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family and her love for them will be forever cherished.  Dianna was a kind-hearted, well-loved, strong, and powerful woman who was known by many and loved by all.

She is survived by her son, John Wade Pullen, II (Chrise Pullen); her daughter, Janet Pullen Cloud (Brad Cloud); her brothers, Richard Mires and Roy Lee “Bubba” Mires and her sisters, Yvonne Mires, Bonnie Lynn Ford and Betty Sue Mires.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Silver Ann Holt, Madison Renee Pullen, Kyle Wade Pullen, Corey Phinney, Allison Phinney, Madeline Dianna Cloud and James Bradley Cloud, V and three great-grandchildren, Charlotte Holt, Kate Holt and Lily Holt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim W. Pullen; her parents, Herbert John Mires and Gladys Talley Mires and her siblings, Larry Mires, Clyde Mires, Charles Mires, Carl Wayne “Lil Skipper” Mires, Jeanette Mires, Joyce “Tee” Mires and Ginger Mires.

The pallbearers will be John Pullen II, Kyle W. Pullen, Brad Cloud, James Cloud, Barrett Meeks and Matthew Holt.
