Elizabeth Guillory

Opelousas - Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 for Elizabeth Louise Dupuis Guillory in the Skip Montet Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas. Father James Brady will officiate the services. Rite of Committal will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.

Visitation will be held in the Skip Montet Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, June 2, 2018. A Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m.

Mrs. Guillory, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

Mrs. Guillory was a devoted wife and mother. She was happily married for 63 years. Mrs. Guillory was a long-time parishioner of St. John's Catholic Church in Zachary. She loved to pray the Rosary. She also enjoyed sewing, reading the newspaper, cooking and traveling on vacations. Mrs. Guillory cherished her time being around people, especially her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Guillory Curtis of Clinton; brother, Larry Dupuis of Port Neches, TX; sisters, Wanda Dupuis Symmonds of Kemah, TX and Patricia Dupuis of Beaumont, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Guillory; sister, Bessie J. Sticker; brothers, Walter Dupuis, Jr. and Douglas Dupuis; and parents, Walter Dupuis, Sr. and Mable Comeaux Dupuis.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Lionel Stelly, Mike Stelly, Brian Stelly, Brice Stelly, Nicholas Stelly, Tim Ducote, Keith Aymond, Cade Buckner, Ronnie Sticker and Gene Dupuis.
