Eugene Hebert

Funeral services for Eugene Gene Hebert will be held on Monday December 1, 2008 at 11:00am in the St. Landry Catholic Church. The interment to take place at Bellevue Memorial Park. Fr. Albert Borel will conduct the services.

Mr. Hebert, age 77 a resident of Opelousas died Saturday November 29, 2008 at 3:10am in the Opelousas General Health System.

Mr. Hebert was a cattle rancher and he belonged to the American Brahman Breeders Association and the Cattlemans Association.

Survivors include his wife; Theresa Margie Reed Hebert of Opelousas, son; Carlos Hebert and wife Brenda of Opelousas, brothers; Henry Borel of Youngsville and Lawrence Borel Port Arthur, Tx. 5 grandchildren; Dana Klimavicz of Baton Rouge, Scotty Quebedeaux of Opelousas, Marcia Lavergne of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Christopher Jeffers of Baton Rouge and Brendaly Hebert of Opelousas and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents;Louis and Armance Benoit Hebert, daughters; Jonie Marie Hebert and Eugenie Hebert Quebedeaux, sisters; Stella Benoit and Dorothy Borel, brother; Freddie Borel

Visitation will be Sunday November 30, 2008 from 2:00pm until 9:00pm and Monday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:15pm
