Funeral services for Eula M. Whittington will be held on Thursday, July 13th, 2006 at 11:00AM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel on Sunset Highway, Opelousas with interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington. Rev. James Nguyen will conduct the services.

Mrs. Whittington, age 87, a resident of Krotz Springs, died at her residence Wednesday, July 12th, 2006 at 3:00AM.

She was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Krotz Springs.

She is survived by her sons; David Whittington and his wife Amy Fay of Krotz Springs and James L. Whittington and his wife Rosalind of Gonzales, 1 daughter; Doris Breaux and her husband Paul of Krotz Springs, 1 brother; Necaisse Marks of Ville Platte. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 31 Great-grandchildren and 8 Great-great-grandchildren

Mrs. Whittington was preceded in death by her husband George Whittington and her parents; Necaisse and Anna Morain Marks, 2 brothers; Clifford Marks and Edgar Marks. 2 sisters; Hilda Meche and Elena Guillory.

Visitation was observed on Wednesday, July 12th, 2006 from 5:00PM to 10:00PM and will continue today from 8:00AM until time of service. A rosary was recited at 7:00PM, Wednesday.
