Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Fae Rollins were held on Saturday at 1:00PM, December 15, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs with the interment in Hillcrest Cemetery in Baker La. The Rev. Chad Balfa conducted the services.

Mrs. Rollins, a resident of Krotz Springs, age 83, died Friday, December 14, 2007 at Opelousas General Health System.

She is survived by 3 sons; Danny Blevins and his wife Donna of Jackson, La., Roger Blevins of Austin, TX. and Larry Blevins and his wife Alda of Kenner, La. a daughter; Patsy Schexnayder of Krotz Springs, La , 1 brother and 6 sisters. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren,10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Rollins was preceded in death by her husband Author Rollins, a daughter; Leona Disotell and her parents; Lillian and Otto Smith, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Visitation was observed on Friday, December 14, 2007 at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs from 5:00PM to 10:00PM and continued on Saturday, December 15th from 8:00AM until the time of service.
