George Fruge

Funeral services for Mr. George E. Fruge, Sr., will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington. The Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. Albert Nunez will conduct the services.

Mr. Fruge, age 76, who was a resident of Washington, La., died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Opelousas General Health System.

Mr. Fruge is survived by his wife Betty Ann Jones Fruge of Washington., his sons; Houston H.P. Fruge and his wife Charlotte, Charles Joseph Fruge, and Sam George Fruge Jr., all of Washington La., and Carl James Fruge of Lafayette, his daughters; Sandra Gale Fruge Deville and her husband Donald and Rebecca Ann Fruge Morain and her husband Harris all of Washington La., his brothers; Joseph J.L. Lester Fruge and his wife Nova of Lemoine and Roland Fruge and his wife Judy of Plaucheville La., his sister; Lola Marie Fruge of Rosa La. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Lester and Bathile Dupre Fruge, sister; Anna Lee Fruge Chelette and her husband Elta and Rowena Fruge Mistric.

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Tuesday, March 20th, from 2:00PM to 10:00PM and visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8;00AM until time of service.

A Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00PM
