Hazel Latiolais

Funeral services for Mrs. Elton Latiolais the former Hazel Richard will be held Monday November 19, 2007 at 11:00am in the St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell. The interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Daniel Picard will conduct the services.

Mrs. Latiolais age 87, a resident of Opelousas died Friday November 16, 2007 at 12:20pm in the Opelousas General Health Systems. She was a housewife and a member of the Ladies Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters Of America both at St. Bridget Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sons; Rhyney Latiolais and wife Melba of Opelousas, Larry Latiolais and wife Barbara of Opelousas and Donald Latiolais and wife Sharon of Port Allen, a brother; James Richard of Opelousas, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Mentor Richard and Oliva Benoit Richard, husband; Elton Slim Latiolais, sons; Verlin and Ricky Latiolais.

Visitation will be Sunday November 18, 2007 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm and on Monday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00pm.

Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas is in charge of the arrangements.
