Jennifer Ann Vigil

LAWTELL – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jennifer Ann Vigil on Monday, February 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell, La.  Rite of Committal and burial will take place in the St Bridget Church Cemetery.   Father Mark Ledoux will celebrate the Mass.

Pallbearers will be Chad Bullara, Philemon Torres, Carlos Sosa, Anthony Vigil, Paul West and David Naquin.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jennifer Ann Vigil, age 70, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her residence.  

Jennifer was a registered nurse and loved taking care of her patients.  She loved baking, cooking for her family and friends and visiting the local casinos.  Jennifer will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Tawnia Bullara and husband, Chad, Leslie Torres, and Andrea Picciola and husband, Harris; her brother, Anthony Vigil and her sister, Pamela Kral.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, Alec Robinson, Cain Naquin (Kerri), Austin Vercher (Melissa Cazares), Philemon Torres, Alyssia Sosa, and Carlos Sosa.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Bathilda Vigil; her daughter, Desiree’ Yvonne Robinson and her nephews, Michael Kral and Lance Doucet.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at 

Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning at 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM.  The funeral home will re-open on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM.
