John Chautin

Opelousas-Funeral services for Mr. John Shane Chautin, age 36, will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, La. followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, La. Father Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the services.
John Shane Chautin, a resident of Opelousas, La., died on September 6, 2008 at his residence.

Mr. Chautin is survived by his sons, John Shane Champagne, of Grand Coteau, La.; Brandon Paul Chautin, of Grand Coteau, La.; his daughter, Christina Marie Chautin, of Grand Coteau, La.; his sisters, Carolyn Chautin, of Lawtell, La.; Janet Semien, of Opelousas, La.; his mother, Marie Leger Chautin, of Opelousas, La. and one grandchild.

Mr. Chautin was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Chautin; his brother, Randy Chautin and his sister, Donna Hidalgo.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will re-open on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary service will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
