It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of John “Johnny” Allen Gremillion, a native of Opelousas and resident of Erwinville, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the age of 65.
Johnny was the owner and operator of Gremco Pest Prevention Specialists, Inc. He was a very hard worker and successful in both business and life, providing for his family and giving to those in need. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He was loved dearly by his family and all who knew him.
Johnny enjoyed being outdoors. His afternoons were spent taking care of his garden, his many blackberry bushes and fruit trees. He was an avid duck hunter, spending those weekends with his good friends. Johnny also loved spending his time going fishing and camping with his family. He was a friend to many people and was always there lending a helping hand to those in need.
Johnny will forever be remembered by his wife of 41 years, Tammy Talbot Gremillion; sons, Jonathan Edward Gremillion, Matthew Lee Gremillion and Avery Talbot Gremillion (all of Erwinville, LA); daughter, Lorrie Gremillion LeBlanc (Chad) of Gonzales, LA; brother, James Larry Gremillion of Arnaudville, LA; and sister, Bonnie Patricia Gremillion of Breaux Bridge, LA; grandchildren, Aaron Paul LeDoux and Katelyn Rose LeDoux (both of Opelousas).
