John Vidrine

Lawtell - A graveside service will be held for, Mr. John Erwin Vidrine, age 87, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Bridget's Catholic Church Cemetery in Lawtell. The service will be conducted by Deacon Bill Pollingue.

Mr. Vidrine, a resident of Opelousas, LA, died on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.

Mr. Vidrine was a member of the Masters, Mates and Pilots Association. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Mary "Herbie" Trahan Vidrine; his sons, Paul Jody Vidrine of California, Chris Vidrine and wife, Debra of Carencro, LA; his daughters, Johnna Vidrine and Renee Vidrine, both of Opelousas, LA.

He was preceded in death by parents, Avanat and Olivia Vidrine; and his brother Cliff Dupre.
