Johnny Coates, Sr.

Funeral services for Johnny Lee Coates, Sr. will be Thursday March 15, 2007 at 11:00am in the First Baptist church in Krotz Springs with interment at the church cemetery. Brother Chad Balfa will conduct the services. Mr. Coates, age 48 a resident of Lottie died Monday March 12, 2007 at his residence.

Survivors include his mother and step father; Beatrice and Randy Thompson of Lottie, daughter; Johnica Lynn Godeaux and husband Blake of Krotz Springs, son; Johnny Lee Coates, Jr. and wife Chrystal of Krotz Springs, stepchildren; Mark McMurray and wife Lajuan of Crowville, La., Shanna McMurray of Krotz Springs and Brad McMurray and wife Tammie of Winnsboro, La., sister; Nellie Jane Duplechain of Lottie, brother; Larry Wayne Coates of Krotz Springs, sister in law; Laura Ann Coates of Lottie, mother of his children; Cookie Coates Harrison of Krotz Springs, grandchildren; Blakelynn Malachi Godeaux, Hannah Sage Godeaux, Abigail Godeaux and Kaylee Brooke Coates, step grandchildren; Kylie McMurray, Dalton McMurray, Allison Smith, Tanner Smith and Colton McMurray. Preceded in death by his father; Rufus Coates, brothers; Jackie Lynn Coates and Jerry Lynn Coates, Sr.
