Joseph Fontenot

Funeral services for Joseph Charles Chuck Fontenot will be held Wednesday November 21, 2007 at 10:30am in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. The interment will be in the National Cemetery in Port Hudson. Fr. Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the services.

Mr. Fontenot age, 62 a resident of Opelousas died Sunday November 18, 2007 at University Medical Center in Lafayette. He was a self employed Painting Contractor and a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era.

Survivors include his son; Jessie James Fontenot of Clanton, Al., brothers; Kenneth Kenny Fontenot and David Fontenot both of Opelousas, sisters; Jackie Mills, Betty Johnson, Sandy Savoy and Carmen Demay all of Opelousas and one grandchild; Brent Fontenot of Clanton, Al.

Preceded in death by his parents; Marius and Viola Fontenot.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:30pm until 9:00pm and on Wednesday from 8:30am until service time. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6:30pm.
