Joseph Mouton

Funeral services for Joseph Joe Mouton will be Tuesday August 21, 2007 at 2:00pm at Our Lady Of Mercy Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau. Fr. Paul Bienvenu will conduct the services.

Mr. Mouton, age 84 a resident of Opelousas died Saturday August 18, 2007 at Opelousas General Health Systems. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

Survivors include his daughter; Rita Schexneider and her husband Will of Opelousas, grandchildren; Trae Schexneider and his wife Loli of Opelousas, Jonathan Schexneider of Baton Rouge and Lauren Schexneider of Lafayette, great grandchildren; Kelsey Schexneider, Devon Schexneider, Kylie Schexneider and Mary Major all of Opelousas.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Josephine C. Mouton and his parents; Clay and Rita R. Mouton.

Visitation will be Monday at 3:00pm and will remain open all night. A rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00pm.
