KATHERINE GAY BOUDREAUX

Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Gay Boudreaux will be held on Monday, October 9th, 2006 at 11:00AM at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell, with interment at St. Bridgets Mausoleum. The Rev. Daniel Picard will conduct the services.

Mrs. Boudreaux, age 95, a resident of Opelousas, died Friday, October 6th at her residence. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society in Lawtell.

She is survived by a son; Geoffrey Boudreaux and his wife Lucille of Lewisburg, daughters; Loretta Boudreaux Domingue of Lewisburg and Dolores Boudreaux Lafleur and her husband Charles of Metairie, La. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Boudreaux, five brothers; Basil, Foster, Leopold, Leo and Adam Jr, six sisters; Adelphine Beaugh, Estelle Wimberly, Marie Dohmann, Blanche Cormier, Electa Daigle and Mathilda Christ.

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Sunday, October 8th, 2006 from 11:00AM to 9:00PM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home on Sunset Highway in Opelousas and will continue on Monday from 8:00AM till time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:30PM on Sunday.
