Kerry worked offshore as a ballast control operator for Chevron, dedicating many years to this demanding field. His work ethic was matched only by his many talents, as he was an inventor, a true "jack of all trades” and a mentor to many. His passion for his work extended into his hobbies, where he found joy in fishing, hunting, woodworking, and electrical projects. Additionally, Kerry dedicated much of his time to nurturing his vegetable garden and enjoyed the satisfaction in watching things grow. Kerry was a loving and caring husband, father, and Papi. He also was a very loved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Guidry; his sons, Derek Guidry and partner Hayley, and Hunter Guidry and his wife Kasey; his grandchild, Phoebe Guidry and his sister, Annette Luneau.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. Guidry and Mary Louise Morain Guidry, and his brothers, Ronald Guidry and Dean Guidry.

Kerry will be remembered for his unconditional love, his generous spirit, and the beautiful memories he created with those he held dear.
