Lee Boagni

Opelousas- Lee Garland Boagni, age 70, died Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Opelousas General Hospital after a prolonged illness. He had been a resident of Opelousas Senior Village Nursing Home.

He was a 1957 graduate of the Academy of Immaculate Conception in Opelousas.

Garland was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Boagni, Sr. and Helen Garland Boagni and his brother, Benjamin Albert Boagni.

He is survived by two brothers and their wives, Judge Kenneth Boagni, Jr. and wife Lois of Opelousas and Henry Adams Boagni and wife Cara of Baton Rouge and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be observed in the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, Monday, December 22, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Reverend Monsignor Paul Metrejean will be the celebrant.

LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas Old Sunset Highway has been entrusted with arrangements.
