Lee Lavergne

Opelousas-Funeral services for Lee Roy Lavergne will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m., followed by the interment in St. Bridgets Cemetery in Lawtell, La. Rev. Benny Reppond will conduct the services.

Mr. Lavergne, age 56, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at University Medical Center in Lafayette.

He is survived by his sons; Jason Lee Lavergne and Elizabeth Ashley Bernard of Harvey La. and David Lee Lavergne and his wife, Amanda Arabie, of Lawtell; his brothers, Jack Lavergne and his wife Diane of Opelousas and Jimmie Lavergne and his wife Irice of Eunice. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; Garrett Paul Lavergne and Donivan Kade Lavergne.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Benjamin and Yolande Latiolais Lavergne, a sister; Marie L. Bellard and a brother; Joseph Big Joe Lavergne.

The family has requested that visitation will be observed on Thursday, December 4, 2008, at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home, South Union Street in Opelousas, La. from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will continue on Friday, December 5, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. until

time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Thursday.

The Pallbearers will be; Brad Lavergne, Ben Lavergne, Blake Lavergne, Shane Bellard, Learlin Bellard and David Richard.
