Katherine passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012, at Womens and Childrens Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.

Lila leaves behind her father and mother, Christopher and Katie Fontenot, of Opelousas, LA her maternal grandparents, Norris and Paula Prudhomme Lejeune, of Lawtell, LA her paternal grandparents, Carl and Sharon McCardell Fontenot, of Opelousas, LA her paternal greatgrandparents, Doris McCardell and Irma Fontenot, both of Opelousas, LA and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal greatgrandparents, Gene and Geneva Prudhomme, John and Ruby Lejeune and her paternal greatgrandparents, Frank McCardell, Sr. and Ulysses Fontenot, Jr.
