Funeral services for Lydie J. Dee Stelly will be Wednesday September 24, 2008 at 11:00am in St. Peters Catholic Church in Grand Prairie. Interment to take place at Bellevue Memorial Park. Fr. Mark Melancon will conduct the services.

Mrs. Stelly, age 84, a resident of Grand Prairie died Sunday September 21, 2008 at Opelousas General Health Systems following a short illness.

Survivors include her son; Walton Stelly, Jr. and his wife Patty of Grand Prairie; 1 brother, Austin Jones, Jr. of Sulphur, La.; 1 granddaughter; Leslie Stelly of New York and 1 grandson David Stelly of Grand Prairie, La.

Preceded in death by her husband; Walton Stelly, Sr., parents; Austin Jones, Sr. and Armosa Jones, brother; Stafford Jones, Sr., sisters; Jeannette Vidrine, Mabris Ortego and Octavia Richard.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00pm until 9:00pm and Wednesday from 8:00am until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Tuesday.
