Mary Disotell

Krotz Springs - Funeral services will be held for Mary Joyce Knott Disotell at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Krotz Springs. Pastor Jason Impson and Brother Don Disotell will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Disotell, age 80, a resident of Krotz Springs, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019. Joyce owned and operated a general maintenance business in Krotz Springs for 38 years. She loved being outdoors doing yard work and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Don Disotell and wife, Roslyn, of Krotz Springs, LA; Mike Disotell and wife, Rochelle, of Lafayette, LA; Toby Disotell and wife, Deanna, of Krotz Springs, LA; her brothers, Ray Knott and wife, Ginger, of Arnaudville, LA; Harris Knott and wife, Eva, of Arnaudville, LA; her sisters, Velma King of Baton Rouge, LA and Jane McConnell of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mickey Disotell, Micah Disotell, Caleb Disotell, Declan Disotell, Dawson Disotell, Jackson Disotell, Kase Disotell, Harper Disotell and Mason Disotell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Disotell; her parents, Ashton and Yvonne Knott and numerous brothers.

Visitation will be held in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will reopen on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, from 8:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Pallbearers will be Declan Disotell, Dawson Disotell, Caleb Disotell, Micah Disotell, John Ellis and Tim Guidry.
