Mary Titard

Opelousas - Funeral services for Mary Miller Titard, age 89, will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.

Rev. Kenneth Mayne will conduct the services.

Mary Titard, a resident of Opelousas, died at 4:59 a.m. on May 9, 2008 at Prompt Succor Nursing Home.

Mrs. Titard was a past member of the St. Landry Catholic Church Alter Society and a member of the Legion of Mary. She also belonged to the St. Annes Rosary Group.

Mrs. Titard is survived by her daughter, Sandra Titard of Opelousas; a sister, Euna McGill; one niece, Betty Brown of Lunsford, Kansas and four nephews, Jasper Miller of Ville Platte, Louisiana; Terry Miller of Norco, Louisiana; Paul McGill of Eugene, Oregon and Mike McGill of Hayward, California.

Mrs. Titard was preceded in death by her husband, John Clayton Titard; her parents, Stephen Louis Miller and Mrs. Amedie Fontenot; and her brothers, Eual J. Miller and Earliste Miller.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 1:00 p.m.
