Mary Vidrine

Funeral services for Mary Nita Lavergne Vidrine will be held Monday November 6, 2006 at 2:00pm in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Benny Reppond will conduct the services. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park.

Mrs. Vidrine, age 66, a resident of Opelousas died Friday November 3, 2006 at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas.

Survivors include her sons; Terry Wayne Vidrine of Opelousas, Daniel Kelly Vidrine of Opelousas, David Shane Vidrine of Lawtell and friend David Travasos, and Shannon C. Vidrine of Lafayette, daughter; Pamela Lanclos of Opelousas, granddaughter; Danielle Vidrine of Opelousas who was raised by Gerald and Nita, sisters; Linda Miller and husband Ashton of Eunice and Theresa Richard of Bridge City, Tx., brothers; Freeman Lavergne and wife Clara of Carencro and Nolton Lavergne and wife Elsie Mae of Opelousas, 8 grandchildren; Terry, Jr., Nicole, Kody, Danielle, Jacob and Nicholas Vidrine, Lacie Zerangue and Ashley Artigue, 3 great grandchildren; Grace Artigue, Demi Zerangue and Zoey Ortego.

Preceded in death by her husband; Joseph Gerald Vidrine, parents; Willie and Helen Fisher Lavergne, brother; Hubert Lavergne and an infant grandson.

Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00am until 10:00pm and will reopen for 8:00am on Monday. A Celebration of Life Service will be Sunday at 6:00pm.
