Services for Mrs. Olive R. Smith will be held at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas at 12:30PM, will be today, November 22nd, 2006 with interment at Bellevue Memorial Park. Msgr. Louis Melancon will conduct the services.

Mrs. Smith, 86, died November 21, 2006 at Doctors Hospital of Opelousas.

She is survived by 1 brother; Joseph Richard of Opelousas and 1 sister; Zula Stelly of Arnaudville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Ellis and Edia Doucet Richard, a brother; Ellis James Richard and 2 sisters; Clementine Bergeron and Gertie Richard.. Visitation was observed on Tuesday from 3:00PM to 10:00PM and will continue today from 8:00AM till time of service. A rosary was recited at 6:30PM on Tuesday.
