Olivia Jones

Funeral services for Olivia Layne Jones will be held at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Msgr. Robert Romero will conduct the services. The interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Grand Prairie.

Olivia Layne Jones, 3 12 months, died on February 5, 2008 at Childrens Hospital in New Orleans.

She is survived by her parents, Ryan Jones and Rachelle Brignac of Lafayette; grandparents, Paulette and C.J. Jones of Destrahan, Debbie Brignac of Grand Prairie and Harper Brignac of Ville Platte. She is survived by her great-grandparents, Paul and Janva Costanza of Grand Prairie and Ray Brignac of Ville Platte. She is also survived by her uncle Johnathan Jones and wife, Lauren of Destrahan; uncle and godfather Adam Jones and wife Christy of Destrahan; uncle Charles Brignac and wife Monica of Grand Prairie and aunt and godmother Veronica Hidalgo and husband Kip of Grand Prairie. She is also survived by her half-brother, Austin Fairchild and six first cousins, Savannah Hidalgo, Aubry Hidalgo, Jenna Brignac, Ashton Brignac, Malaya Jones and Tyler Jones.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Verline Brignac.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 8, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and re-open on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2008.
