Olivia Grace Dugas

Funeral services for baby Olivia Grace Dugas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in the Skip Montet Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, La.  Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.  Pastor Carl Beard will be officiating the service.

Oliva Grace Dugas, 3 months, gained her angel wings on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at 12:29 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, La.

Olivia Grace touched everyone's lives.  She found comfort and love when she was being snuggled.  Olivia was feisty and a fighter.  Words cannot express how much she will be missed by her family.

She is survived by her loving parents, Chandler and Elizabeth Dugas; her maternal grandparents, Victoria Beard and Joseph Beard; her paternal grandparents, Scotty and Paula Dugas; her great-grandparents, Gloria Sonnier and Viola Doucet; her godparents, Alexis Barker and Rodney Castille and a host of family members.

Olivia was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Shirley Ann Beard, Roger Dale Sonnier, Rodney Doucet, Carl Beard, Sr., Louis and Geraldine Dugas and her great-uncle, Carl Keith Dugas.

Honored pallbearers will be Chandler Dugas and Scotty Dugas.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 2:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas.
